Key Functions

  • Utilizing lists and an in-depth on-line research database to perform targeted outbound calls.
  • Penetrate target organizations at all levels to uncover critical issues, initiatives and key contacts.
  • Frequently update on-line contact management system with additional decision makers.
  • Finding and developing revenue opportunities within target organizations.
  • Engaging in weekly opportunity review sessions with both the Venator sales management team and our client's sales team.
  • Communicating both in writing and verbally all the finite details relating to opportunities which are in the initial development stages.
  • Performing the transition of all opportunities to our client's sales staff by acting as a liaison and leading conference calls with both the key contacts from the prospective end user and our client's sales people.
  • Critical Capability :Managing the initial qualification stages of an opportunity 

  • Developing Rapport with target decision makers.
  • Uncovering issues, challenges and initiatives which relate to client solutions
  • Digging deeper into the organizational effect of any issues on the target companies and the personal job impact these issues have on the key decision makers.
  • Discovering any initial budgetary constraints including personal constraints on the key contact(s).
  • Mapping out decision process, initial competitive arena and additional contacts who will be involved.
  • Expediting any initial requests for general web based product/company info via email.
  • Communicating frequently the status of each initial opportunity via phone and on-line reporting tools.
  • Qualifications: Non-Negotiable experience and character traits

  • BA/BS preferred and at least 5 years prior sales experience. 
  • Results driven and detail oriented.
  • Strong phone and listening skills
  • Aggressive, self motivated and money driven attitude. 
  • Able to take direction and coaching.
  • Excellent communication skills both written and verbal.
  • Able to demonstrate past experience developing a pipeline of new sales opportunities.
  • Energetic and strong desire to sell
